James Earl Ray
Martin Luther King Jr.’s family is asking that the imprisoned James Earl Ray be brought to trial for the assassination of King. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 99 years in prison. Ray suffers from liver disease and the family doesn’t want him to die before the truth comes out. A hearing is scheduled in Memphis. Some of the family members will be attending.
